He was asleep on the couch, his dirty-blond hair messy from having moved around in his sleep. His body limp and he let his arm sling over the edge of the couch. Soft breathing coming in and out of him as he drooled on the couch. Surely Xemnas wouldn’t be too pleased with that later. Dreams full of music as it played in his mind as he slept peacefully on the couch.

Another boy walked into the room. Heading over to the couch, he saw it was occupied and sighed with a tiny smile on his face. Bending down, he tapped Demyx’s head gently. He was intending to wake him up, but not so much that would upset him.

“Demyx…?” Roxas said softly tapping his temple with his pointer finger. “Demyx…? Wake up…”

Demyx let out a loud whine and turned his head the other way, now facing the couch. Roxas putting on a slight scowl as he looked down at the older Nobody. He sighed and tapped Demyx’s shoulder with a little bit more rough. He sighed aggravated and tapped his shoulder more. Demyx whining a little more.

“Go awaaaay…” he said in a pitiful voice.

“Noooo,” Roxas mocked. “Get up Demyx!”

Now sitting on his back, Demyx’s aqua eyes flew open. He growled and looked at Roxas over his shoulder. Sighing and picking his arms up, “Get off me or else I can’t, sillyhead.”

Roxas got up obediently, followed by Demyx. He beamed up at the taller Nobody in a pride.

“You can be a pain sometimes…” Demyx said, covering his mouth as he yawned.

“You were hogging the couch.”

“Mmm…”

Scuffling Roxas’s hair, Demyx smiled down at him, picking him up in a hug and smiling.

“Thanks for waking me up… I have to get ready for a mission.”

“I know, that’s why I did it. I’ll miss you while you’re gone!”

“I’ll miss ya too! Who wouldn’t miss their little brother?” Demyx said jokingly.

“Who wouldn’t miss their big brother?” Roxas said raising his eyebrow.

The both chuckled, smiling as Demyx let Roxas go.

“Exactly!”
